Campers and Staff live together on the ranch all summer. We work, play, and create a community with each new session. At camp, nature is our constant companion, we live outdoors and interact with our mountain ranch environment every day.

Mountain Ranch Living

The ranch is a big part of our camp program. Throughout each session campers can help care for the ranch by fixing fences, splitting wood, and even building camp buildings. Every morning before breakfast campers can choose to join counselors in cleaning the barn, feeding the chickens, and milking the goats. We love teaching campers new skills and seeing them leave a mark on the Bar 717.

Living areas

Campers live in groups of 4-10 on open air platforms nestled into the forest around main camp. One or two counselors live on each platform with each group of campers.

Meals

Meals at the ranch are served family style, and our cooks prepare amazing food three times a day. There are a variety of options with every meal, so everyone can find something to enjoy, and whenever possible we use food grown right here on the Ranch.
