What are you doing this coming April 4th-7th?
Why, because we will be hosting a volunteer work weekend at the Bar 717 Ranch!
All are welcome. No skill necessary. Come join the extended Camp Trinity community and help us with hands-on projects that will make Camp better for all.
Our project list may include:
- Prepping beds and working in the gardens (weather permitting)
- Painting program areas and Staff/Guest Rooms
- Grading paths to living areas
- Trail maintenance, repair, signage
- Fence repair/reconstruction
- Doing what needs to be done…
Come for one, two, three, or all four days. Meals will be provided. We will have Platforms and rooms ready, so bring your sleeping bag, a pair of gloves, willing hands, and a desire to work with new-found friends. There is no cost, and families are welcome. An adult must accompany children since we will not have Counselor supervision.

Love to come help and bring my Granddaughter. Emerson is a farrier. Dont know if he can get time off but any need for help with that? I know he would love to come back for a visit too.

Thanks for your interest in the Bar 717 Ranch Volunteer Work Weekend. My apologies for not getting back to you sooner, but I don’t often check the comments section of our blog.
The weekend is shaping up. We have heard from several families of past and present Camp Trinity campers who have expressed an interest in attending. The ‘weekend’ will run Friday through Monday, with folks staying any combination of days/nights that work for them. We have several projects planned, from improving trails to working in the gardens to replacing the bell tower.
I’ve asked everyone who thinks they might come to let me know their expected arrival and departure dates/times, and what their preference would be for accommodations. We have a limited number of indoor rooms due to some being unavailable due to remodeling.
I’ll be sending out an email shortly with details. Hope you can make it, and bring Emmerson too if he can get away.

Hi,
My daughter Margaret Lerer attended the 1st. Session of camp for the first time last year.
She absolutely loved it. We also had two other family members there at the same time, Molly McGee and Olivia Lerer.
Margaret had just lost her Daddy, and also shortly after, her Grandfather, so I was so happy to get her on that plane to camp.
She’s grown a lot this year, and we’d both like to help get the camp ready for Summer. As of now it’s just the two of us, we’ll bring more helpers if we can find them.
I come from a farm family, and am a hard worker. My daughter on the other hand is a Farmer in training. She’s started riding lessons since last Summer, so anything with animals, or their needs are good for her. Thanks much, Nora Lerer
