Bigfoot’s Friendship Bracelet

Bigfoot was recently spotted wearing a friendship bracelet. Looks like they stopped by The Bead Cafe (AKA Arts and Crafts) late last night. They left the pattern for their friendship bracelet behind, why don’t you take a look. What was Bigfoot thinking about when he wrote this pattern?

Bigfoot’s Friendship Bracelet Pattern

Start with five strands of Pink embroidery thread (each 16in long) and a strand of Blue embroidery thread (3ft long). Tie all the strands in a knot at one end and start working with the Blue strand left to right, knotting Blue on each Pink strand using forward knots. Continue to the end of the row and then work right to left knotting Blue on each Pink strand using backward knots. Continue back and forth for a few rows and then begin the following pattern. Whenever the pattern calls for a B create a Blue knot, whenever the pattern calls for a P create a Pink knot. Keep the blue strand moving across the pattern, all knots will either be blue, or knotted on the blue strand.
