They didn’t even spell check?
What one keyword are they trying to tell us?
Write out all the misspelled words and they form a sentence telling you the answer…
The format of those numbers sure looks familiar.
Did you know… you can enter Latitude/Longitude values into google maps satellite view.
The color coded letters give you Latitude and Longitude when read from top to bottom and put in the blanks at the bottom of the picture. Enter those values in google maps and you will get a location at camp.
If I could only see the shadows from the moon’s perspective…
The moon is looking down your screen at a very steep angle
If you look down your screen it will visually “compress” the images (might help to close one eye). Both the trees and the shadows form a word, and together they make the answer.
Did you know… that Campservations has a section with little facts about the ranch
Notice the weird numbers in Campservations “did you know” section? Check out our History page on this site to see how Grover converted letters to “717”…
Grover A. Gates used his initials and a letter to number cipher to come up with the number 717. G is the 7th letter of the alphabet, A is the 1st letter, G is the 7th letter. Try using that system to decode this number string 2 9 7 6 15 15 20 12 15 22 5 19 23 1 20 5 18 13 5 12 15 14
Try tracing Bigfoot’s daily movements…
If you draw straight lines following Bigoot’s locations point to point, and start over with every new day…
After tracing the path, look at the lines drawn, they should form a letter for each day
It’s not about what the animals are saying, but how many are saying it…
The sound tells you the order of the numbers (there are some repeats!)…
Assign each animal a number based on how many of that animal are present in the collage (careful of Pigs and Horses!). Listen to the track and use the animal sounds to order the numbers, there are some repeats. Translate the numbers with the Gates Cypher from puzzle 4.
Try and figure out the sequence of symbols to follow on the map pages…
Each item in the drawing has a word hidden in it, for example the tent has the word Ax hidden in it, so the sequence goes Tent-> Ax -> ???
Follow the sequence found in the drawing on each page of the encoded map. Starting with the blue tent on each page, click on each symbol in sequence (Tent -> Ax -> Fire -> Smore -> Tent). Once you have selected the symbols, they should form a letter.
Funny, Bigfoot gave us this request right after the virtual campfire…
This is not a code, each letter is an abbreviation. Does it seem somehow familiar? Is the number 9 related?
Bigfoot did ask about this after the campfire, is it related to a song found in the camp songbook?
Bigfoot uses the rules of the game Mastermind.
Here’s a page that describes the rules.…
Start by looking at the letter U, where do you think it might fit into the four letter word? Next, try to investigate the letter S
The four letters your looking at are E, U, S, Z. Can you use the toe patterns to get the right positions?
Can a Friendship Bracelet spell out a word?
Try making this bracelet, or draw out the pattern with pink and blue pens.
The first letter is formed by rows 2-6, the second is 8-10, the third is 12-15, the fourth is 17-19, and the last is 21-23
Try and treat each pattern as a single puzzle for a total of 6 little puzzles
Imagine if you cut out each pattern and folded on the dotted lines… Or better yet print it out and give it a try.
Each pattern can be folded into a cube with the circle overlapping a single letter. These letter can be unscrambled in the answer..
Try out the dance moves!
Watch the pattern your feet make…
Each paragraph gives you dance moves that will cause your feet to trace a single letter. These letters together will spell the answer word.
I’m not so sure those are actually dates…
Each “date” corresponds to a letter. How could you translate each set of three numbers to a single letter?
Each “date” corresponds to a line-word-letter combination in the text above. These letters together form the answer.
YeRB is a funny name. Maybe its an acronym: Ye. R. B.
What three screens would overlap to make the image?
The three screens each look like a single number and those should be arranged in the sequence YeRB (Yellow Red Blue). How do three numbers together suggest the state where someone live?
I don’t see any numbers. Is there a way to encode a year as letters?
Check out to first letter of each line.
How do roman numerals work again?.
Simply enter all the letters from the end of the other puzzles as one sequence.
For the second part, try clicking the decoder ring a number of times equal to each number in bigfoots final code. Read the ring after clicking for each number.
