Guests at the Bar 717 Ranch choose between open-air platforms under the stars or the comfort of cozy indoor guest rooms. Both options keep you immersed in the beauty and community of life on the Ranch.
Please note: Campers in our summer sessions stay exclusively in open-air platforms, while Family Campers and Ranch rental guests can select their accommodations based on availability.
Sleeping platforms
Nestled in the forest near Main Camp, our open-air platforms offer rustic charm and stunning views. Each platform sleeps 6–15 people with cot-sized beds and includes a sink and bathroom, with showers just a short walk away.

Indoor Guest rooms
For those who prefer indoor comfort, our guest rooms offer a cozy retreat near all the Camp activities. Options range from private rooms with en-suite bathrooms to bunkhouse-style spaces for families and larger groups.
BIGFOOT HOUSE
A stand-alone cabin just a short walk around the pond from Main Camp. The front porch overlooks the pond and Main Camp.
Bigfoot Room #1: Large room with private bathroom and shower. Sleeps up to 4.
Bigfoot Room #2: Medium size room that sleeps up to 3. Shared bathroom and shower with Room #3.
Bigfoot Room #3: Small room that sleeps 2. Shared bathroom and shower with Room #2.
GATES GABLES GUEST ROOMS
Three rooms located next to Gates Gables lawn between the Ina Dillon Library and Gates Gables Kitchen in Main Camp.
Gates Gables #1 and #2: Each accommodates 2-3 people and has a private bathroom and shower.
Gates Gables #3: Slightly smaller guest room, sleeps 2 and has a private bathroom and shower.
MURWELL HOUSE
A stand alone 2 bed/2 bath house in main camp with a large living room, woodstove, and kitchen. During the summer, Murwell house serves as our medical center and doctor and nurse’s quarters.
During Family Camp and for rental groups, Murwell house is available for indoor accommodations. Sleeps 4-8 people.
LOWER SHULES HOUSE
Lower Shules House includes two rooms and a private bathroom and shower, sleeps 4-6.
